We are pleased to share an important leadership update with our Minute Man Arc community.
As our search for a permanent Chief Executive Officer continues, the Board of Directors has appointed Al Frugoli as Interim CEO, effective August 14.
We also want to recognize Kimberlee Schumacher, whose time as CEO concludes on August 13. We are grateful for her contributions to Minute Man Arc and wish her all the best in her next chapter.
Al brings more than 30 years of experience in the human services field. Beginning his career as a Direct Support Professional, he advanced through a variety of leadership roles, including serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Incompass Human Services in Chelmsford. Prior to that, he launched a PACE program serving older adults for Element Care in Lynn. Al holds a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Services from Springfield College and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Worcester State University.
During the selection process, the Board was especially impressed by Al’s extensive experience, thoughtful leadership, and genuine commitment to the people we serve. He shared with the Board that the safety, well-being, dignity, and quality of life of the individuals we support will always be at the heart of his work.
Al is looking forward to getting to know the Minute Man Arc community—including the individuals and families we serve, our dedicated staff, volunteers, supporters, and community partners—and learning more about the important work happening across the organization.
We are grateful for the continued support of our community as Minute Man Arc moves through this transition. We look forward to keeping you informed as our search for a permanent CEO progresses.
